Services

Managed IT, with the work around it made plain.

OrbitLink IT helps small businesses look after devices, accounts, email, and the other systems a team uses every day. Managed IT is the ongoing relationship. The services beside it are practical work you can start on their own.

Devices, accounts, email, files, and your website—linked as one system to look after.

01Flagship

Managed IT Services

Ongoing care for the computers, accounts, and core systems your team relies on—so fewer problems land on the owner’s desk.

We start from the setup you already have. Together we decide what ongoing care includes: which devices and accounts we look after, how your team asks for help, and which improvements are simply part of the work.

Some businesses want a standing relationship. Others come for a single project and stop there. Both are reasonable. Managed IT is an agreement, not a default package.

  1. Devices

Mac and Windows computers kept usable: updates, basic setup, and help when a machine gets in the way of the workday.

  2. Accounts

The sign-ins people use for email and everyday tools, including changes when someone joins or leaves.

  3. Records

A written picture of what you have and how it is set up, so the knowledge is not stuck in one person’s head.

  4. Help

A known way for the team to ask when something breaks, instead of the owner being the default IT person.

If ongoing care includes watching any systems, that scope and how we tell you are written into the agreement.

02Security

IT Security

Sensible protection for a business your size: who can sign in, whether devices are protected, and whether important information can be restored.

  1. Sign-in

Stronger authentication, including multi-factor sign-in where your tools support it, and fewer shared passwords.

  2. Devices

Practical protection and routine updates on the computers people use.

  3. Backups

A real copy of the files and mail that matter, plus a check that restoring them is realistic.

When this comes up

  • A shared login is still in use and it is unclear who has it
  • A laptop was lost and you need a calm next step
  • Backups exist in name, but nobody has tried a restore

This is practical security for a small team: sign-in, devices, and backups. If a problem needs a specialist, we will say so.

03Support

IT Support & Help Desk

A clear place for your team to get help when technology gets in the way of the workday.

The owner should not have to be the person everyone interrupts about a password. We agree how people reach us—usually by email—and we work the issue from there.

  1. 01

    Reach us

Your team uses the contact path we agreed.

  2. 02

    Work the issue

We troubleshoot remotely and fix what we can see.

  3. 03

    Explain the result

You hear what changed, and whether the same issue needs a more durable fix.

When this comes up

  • Someone is locked out of email before a call
  • A computer cannot reach the office Wi-Fi or a shared file
  • A new hire needs accounts and a usable computer

New inquiries receive a reply during business hours. For clients, support hours and what a normal request includes are written into the agreement.

04Systems

Business Systems & Cloud

Email, shared files, and user accounts—set up cleanly, or untangled when they have grown messy.

Google Workspace setup and administration, business email on your domain, and domain DNS are work OrbitLink does directly. If your business already uses Microsoft 365, we can help with the same kinds of account and mail questions. We are not a Google or Microsoft partner.

  1. Google Workspace

Setup and day-to-day administration for the tools your team shares.

  2. Business email

Mailboxes on your domain, including the DNS records mailbox providers expect, such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

  3. Domain and DNS

Changes you can understand before they are made, for the website and for mail.

  4. Access

Who should still have an account, a shared drive, or an administrator role.

When this comes up

  • Mail from your domain tends to land in spam
  • A former teammate still has access to shared files
  • People are working from personal accounts instead of the business

05Projects

Networking & IT Projects

Scoped, one-time work: a network plan, an office move, a migration, or a review that should not become a monthly retainer.

Some technology work has a beginning and an end. We write the scope before it starts, do that work, and leave documentation someone else can follow.

  1. 01

    Scope

What is included, what is not, and what done looks like.

  2. 02

    Carry it out

The move, migration, or setup itself.

  3. 03

    Leave a record

Notes your team can use after the project ends.

A project might look like

  • Planning Wi-Fi and basic connectivity for a small office
  • Moving email, files, or accounts from one setup to another
  • Replacing aging computers with a documented handoff
  • A one-time review when you want priorities, not ongoing management

Networking help is planned project work, with the scope written down before it starts.

06Web

Websites & Automation

A clear business website, the hosting and domain under it, and small automations that remove repetitive busywork.

Websites

Design and hosting for a site that explains what you do, plus the domain and DNS that point the site and mail to the right place.

  • A site your customers can understand
  • Hosting you are not afraid to change
  • Domain records kept in order

Automation

Connecting the tools you already use so the same facts are not copied by hand.

  • A form that lands in the right inbox
  • A handoff between a spreadsheet and email
  • A repeated task that can run the same way each time

The work is the site, the hosting, and the workflow. Search rankings and hours saved are not part of the agreement.

Scoped to your business.

  1. 01

    Start from what you have

Recommendations come from your setup, not from a catalog we apply to everyone.

  2. 02

    Agree before the work grows

A review can turn into a project or into managed IT. That choice is explicit.

  3. 03

Name the edges of the work

If something needs a specialist, a different tool, or more than the scope allows, we will tell you.
